Hey everyone!!! I'm on a mission to keep my blog updated with what I'm doing, so You'll be seeing a lot of posts that will keep up with that task. A have a a 365 days project called the many faces of Frida, of course teh idea is to draw one new Frida Kahlo everyday.

This one is number 43. Today I'm one day behind. So right after post this I'll go back to the desk and paint one more Frida for the day and post it here.

My new collection

I'm thrilled to share with you my latest collection on VIDA!

This collection represents some of my best artwork from over the years and is very authentic to who I am as an artist. I'm really proud today to share this work with you.

On my skin

I ran out of paper son until I can buy more, I'm Painting on myself. this little snowwhite is the first thing I paint it reminds of those years in high school when I would draw on my wrist or my ankle with a black pen and my dad hated it. 

I'll be painting on myself all day everyday day until I can afford to buy art sup again. So these designs will only last a day.

I feel like a kid, I'm so excited

I've been doing some early spring cleaning and here are some original illlustrations that I'm letting go so they can find new homes.

First date

This is the illustration I did today to officially announce Valentine's season. It made me think of the first kiss or the first time you said I love you. I'm girl so I think about that kind of stuff. And I was just thinking how much fun it'd be to illustrate the memory of that special first date.

Esta es la ilustracion que hice para anunciar oficialmente la temporada de San Valentin. Me hizo pensar en el primer beso o la primera vez que dijiste te amo. Soy una chica asi que pienso en ese tipo de cosas. Asi que estaba pensando que divertido seria ilustrar la memoria de aquella primera cita tan especial.

For my tiny little kitchen

No too long ago, we moved to this tiny apartment in downtown that I really like. It's tiny but it has personality, its in a great location. All the buses come downtown. It's really convenient. I recommend everybody to go live downtown. Anyway, the thing is I haven't started decorating just yet. We bought curtains for the kitchen We haven't hung and its all bare walls, and since I'm an illustrator well that's all very sad and bit pathetic. So I made the very first illustration for the new place that will live in our tiny little kitchen. I'm pleased with this one, can't wait to see what comes next.

No hace mucho nos mudamos a este pequeño departamento en el centro que realmente me gusta.

Es pequeño pero tiene personalidad y está muy bien ubicado. Todos los autobuses vienen al centro. Es muy convenience, Les recomiendo a todos vivir en el centro.

Como sea, el asunto es que aun no empezado a decorar. Compramos cortinas para la cocina que aun no hemos colgado y todo es paredes vacias. Y bueno ya que soy ilustradora todo eso resulta triste y algo patetico. Asi que hice la nueva y primera ilustracion para el nuevo departamento que vivira en la pequeña cocina. Estoy contents con esta ilustracion. Me emociona pensar lo que venga despues.

One outfit a day

Challenge: to dress up as if I need to be somewhere every day.

I love clothes, obviously, I'm a girl. But I was too lazy to actually try.

Fact: I'm not that discipline I can fall into old habits pretty fast, but since I'm more aware of it, I fall out of it and start over again.

Reto: vestirme como si realmente tuviera que salir.

Me encanta la ropa, obviamente, soy una chica. Pero era muy floja como para intertarlo.

Realidad: No soy tan disciplinada asi que puedo caer en viejos habitos rapidamente pero como estoy mas conciente de ello, tambien puedo salir de ellos y empezar de nuevo.
